Vehicles - SpringMCLegacy/SpringMCLegacy GitHub Wiki
The primary type of unit players will control are small teams (lances) of Battlemechs, highly advanced, bipedal war engines bristling with weapons and capability. That doesn't mean that conventional vehicles won't play a role, however.
Vehicle Landing Pads can be brought down on captured Navbeacon Outpost slots, which will allow a steady stream of allied conventional forces to be ferried to the battlefield via landing craft. These vehicles won't be under the direct control of the player; they will move across the battlefield attacking enemy and protecting friendly facilities.
Farming C-Bills
An important income source for players will be destroying hostile vehicles. They are often much easier to destroy than enemy Mechs, so avoiding the opposing player to 'farm' C-Bills via vehicles is a potential strategy, at least early in the game.
Farming Salvage
Vehicles will also be an important source of Salvage. By the mid to late game the battlefield should be littered with vehicle wrecks for your recovery vehicles to loot.
Never-ending Defense
As vehicles wander the map it is inevitable they will come across navbeacons and Outposts belonging to a player they are hostile to. While vehicles can't capture or contest navbeacons themselves, they have no problem with attacking and destroying any undefended outposts or other facilities at these beacons.
