This page will cover the installation of this project. Keep in mind there is a mod version and a datapack version so their installations are different.

Mod Version

This section coves the installation of the mod version. You can download the mod version by clicking here.

Before installing the fabric mod version, you'll need to install Fabric, a Minecraft Mod loader which you can download here Additionally, you will also need Fabric API, which can be downloaded here.

  1. To install mods, open your minecraft's mods folder (If you cant find it, search %AppData on your PC and go to .minecraft/mods and drag the mod jar into this folder
  2. This mod requires Fabric API aswell so install that as well
  3. Once its in, you can launch minecraft on the fabric world and it will automatically load on the (singleplayer) worlds you join along with its textures

Datapack Version

This section covers the installation of the datapack version. The datapack version can be downloaded by clicking here.

For New Worlds

  1. When creating a new world, on the main page for the world creation menu (where it displays gamemode and difficulty) click the section that says "Data Packs".
  2. Drag and drop the datapack zip file into this screen and confirm its addition to the list
  3. Hover over the icon for the datapack and click the arrow to move it to the "Selected" list
  4. Click "Done" and generate your world

For Existing Worlds

  1. Open your minecraft's saves folder %AppData% > .minecraft > saves > yourworld
  2. Drag the datapack zip into the datapacks folder in the selected world
  3. Do not unzip it. Once its in the folder, leave and rejoin your game, and it should work!

Because of the limitations of datapacks, the datapack version will not automatically come with textures that display on the client, you'll have to first install the resource pack, which you can find by clicking here. This resource pack does not override vanilla textures, instead adds textures to the new items

Resource packs can be installed in the options menu in Minecraft, then clicking "Resource Packs". Just drag and drop the resource pack zip into the list, hover over the resource pack icon, click the arrow and click "Done".
