timezone data - SpaceTimeWarrior/temporal-light-Jem-of-Twilight GitHub Wiki
this section talks about how time is measured there are two forms of time measurement
- interplanetary time measurement
- local time measurement
first the interplanetary time measurement. this measurement of time is used for interplanetary events, age verification, and other governmental affairs. the solar council uses this and many refuse to use the local time measurement. for anything on Earth, the time zones are the same but on other planets they are assigned a time zone on Earth. if there are any satellites to a planet artificial or not use their home planet's time zone. below is a table with the world data first the in-universe definition and nearest common location in parenthesis Earth satellites: northern glacier [not visited in game] (northern Wisconsin) Eather and it's satellites: magiwood forest areas and distortion mountain range (northwest South Carolina and southwest North Carolina) Venus and it's satellites: sun-drought mountain range (southeast Rocky Mountains)
next is local time measurement. this is an informal means of measuring time that is not meant for governmental or age verification. this is where a planet's government assigns time zones.
