Not much is known about the Shadowcat or how it came to be. many share traits with kitsune but is entirely feline.

Average weight: Unknown.

Heritage: Unknown but after sequencing DNA does have traces of Homo Magica it is unknown how or when it branched off.

Average lifespan: 250 Years is the only constant datapoint for purebloods.

The whole range of shadowcat fur colors are unknown but most are dark or very muted brown. theoretically other colors exist but the only known is yellow. it is unclear what is their underlying skin color those that did see are either killed immediately or suffer of extreme amnesia for years eventually forgetting this fact. with breeding with other races, it is likely Caucasian White these are shockingly safe.

Has a section of long fur in the same area where hair normally is on a human and their color may be brighter or darker than the base fur color.

there is no known magic restriction on what type of magic could be used by them. with their magic levels all over the board.

the only notable bit of history known about shadowcats are that Garnet Wolfsbane's father killed Pearlite's parents. then forced the marriage of Garnet and Pearilite. It is unclear as to why, but many believe that this was to legitimize the Wolfsbane name. many theorize the reason why pearlite does not fight back is to protect the few Foxend family members that still exist and later to protect Jem and Brier. Pearlite does love Garnet though but does have the taint of the above incident.
