How to order a swancolorHD pcb using JLCPCB.

1. Access the JLCPCB homepage and Signin

Access the URL below.
Sign in from the top right menu.
https://jlcpcb.com/

If you don't have an account, create one using Sign Up or log in with your Google Account.

2. Upload PCB gerber file

Order now from the top right menu.

Select the swancolorHD PCB Gerber file from "Add gerber file".
Gerber file is present in the PCB folder of swancolorHD.
File name : PCB_Gerber.zip
Wait a moment until the upload is complete.

Once the upload is complete, you will see a preview of PCB.

3. Select order options

Select order options as desired.
There is no problem if you leave it as the default.

The options I usually change are:

• PCB Specifications -> PCB Color *Change PCB color
• High-Spec Options -> Mark on PCB *Remove order number which is printed by default.

If the PCB thickness is specified like in swantroller, also change the "PCB Thickness".
1.6(mm) is fine for swancolorHD.

4. Enable PCB Assembly(PCBA)

If you want to request JLCPCB to assemble parts, enable "PCB Assembly".
Soldering surface mount components is difficult, so if you are not confident, we recommend that you ask someone to do it for you.
If you want to procure the parts and implement them yourself, select "SAVE TO CART", decide on a shipping method, and proceed to payment.

Once enabled, PCB preview and ordering options will be displayed.
The minimum order quantity for boards is 5.
If you do not want to use all 5 boards, you can request the assembly of only 2 boards from "PCBA Qty".
This reduces ordering costs.

5. Select and place the mounting components

Select "NEXT".

Then select "NEXT".

Upload the BOM file from "Add BOM File".
Upload the CPL file from "Add CPL File".
Please download the BOM file and CPL file from the link below.

Once uploaded, select "Process BOM & CPL".

Mounted parts are selected according to the BOM file.
If JLCPCB is out of stock, the missing quantity will be displayed on the right side. (ex. U3)
In that case, you can order it in advance from "JLCPCB Parts", but we will omit it here.
Or order the parts yourself from a vendor like "Digikey".
(Hint: The "R" at the end of "TPS62221DDCR" indicates the package type, so searching for "TPS62221DDC" will increase your options.)

Also, depending on the part, there may be cases where more parts than the required number are ordered. (ex. L2)
This is due to the minimum number of parts that can be ordered or the "Attrition Qty" set for parts that are difficult to implement.

Select "NEXT".
If the parts is out of stock, a message will appear stating that there are unselected parts, but if there is no problem, select "Do not place" to proceed.

6. Check Component Placements

A preview of the mounted components will be displayed.
Check that the position and orientation of the mounted parts is correct.
If it is incorrect, select the part and rotate or move it.
Once the confirmation is complete, select "NEXT" to proceed.

7. Finish order

Charge details will be displayed.
And select "Product Description" on the right. You should choose "Reserch\Education\DIY\Entertainment" -> "Video/TV Game Player".
Then select "SAVE TO CART", decide on a shipping method, and proceed to payment.
