The Mouse-Mole Pokémon
You gain a pair of Digger’s Claws as natural weapons that you can furiously swipe with. They deal 1d4 slashing damage and have the Razing, Agile, Finesse and Sweep traits.
When you are subjected to forced movement, you can curl up to make use of the momentum to roll or spin into a more advantageous position, you can step 5 feet for every 15 feet of forced movement you underwent as a free action. This movement is also considered Forced movement.
You may take any of the following feats as an Ancestry Feat.
Quill Spray
Level 1
[two-actions]
Frequency once per hour
You can launch a mass of quills at opponents. You spray quills in a 15-foot cone or a 30-foot line, dealing 1d4 damage for every two levels you have. Each creature in the area must attempt a basic reflex saving throw against the higher of your class DC or spell DC. The damage type is either based on one of your Types (your choice if multiple) or Piercing. On a critical failure the spines stick to the creature, making it Clumsy 1 until the end of their next turn. Starting level 13, the target is instead Clumsy 2 until the end of their next turn.
Spine Shield
Level 1
You become protected by a dense layer of spines that you can manifest at will, forming them from a material depending on your types. You gain the Spine Quills Reaction.
If you have both Spine Shield and Quill Spray, the frequency becomes once per Minute. However, if you use one ability, you cannot use the other within the same time period as your quills need to regrow.
- Spine Quills [reaction]
Frequency once per hour
Trigger You are the target of a melee strike or touch-range spell or ability
You manifest spines and break them off in your attacker’s flesh. You deal damage to the triggering creature (basic Reflex save using your class DC or spell DC, whichever is higher.) Failure The creature takes 1d6 for every 2 levels you have (up to 10d6 at level 20) and its damage type is either based on one of your Types (your choice if multiple) or Piercing. Critical failure Same as a Failure, but the creature also takes 1 persistent bleed damage for every two levels you have as your quills hook into its flesh.
