Rename PC to w01-sparkle

    • Change Computer name

Configure Static IP address

  • Ethernet
    • Change ethernet options
  • Ethernet 0
    • Properties
    • Ipv4

Join the sparkle domain

  • System
  • Change Computer Name
    • switch from workgroup to domain

Create local admin sparkle-loc

  • Open lusrmgr.msr
    • Users
    • New
  • Add user to local administrator group
    • User
    • Member of
    • Add
    • W01-SPARKLE\ADMINISTRATORS
  • Verify with net localgroup administrators

Configure PfSense

You only need to do this once on ONE workstation, when you configure your other workstation you do not need to do this step.

  • Set hostname to fw01-sparkle
  • set admin password
