DUCKS! is a scratch game by Milo Tritaperphate, 9th grade Merit Academy in Springville Utah. Created in 2025, some time in March probably. Or maybe '© Jan 31, 2025' (First release/project creation is 95% confirmed to be Jan 31, 2025) Part of the Smellavision Incorperated.
On Sunday the 20th of April, 20 20s of 5, The Invasion began. Milo logged into scratch from the first alt account. At first the other users of the DUCKS! game thought the alt was a new user,
SomethingCatchy2 replying to the first alt account: This comment feels very familiar. Woah! are you a new user! we haven't seen one of those since the 1400s.Unfortunately, another came, Digimonster800. Then more flooded the comments, the view count sky rocketing. Because of this event DUCKS! went from having about 5 stars, to nearly 30 stars. Eventualy the real users realized Milo was just using a ton of alts. This event lasted nearly two hours and ended with SomethingCatchy falling asleep late. List of all Alts:

This event lead to Somethingcatchy being stupid and reporting the project. That report was taken souroisly and now all of DUCKS! likes and comments + the official changeleg are gone. We morn the loss of the old comments. (My family now brings me joy.)
Some official logs have been given, and Milo has given some input. These are the stuffs we know about the developing of DUCKS!
New large version! Ducks have names now, see the document to see all 600. There are a few hidden names that you can't find in the doc. All the names start with J.
Goose, probably. We think goose it added, but no one has seen it yet.
Adds more/fixed addons, Rainbow Duck (by Lucy ), Sonic, Five hour energy, Fire ducks (Smellavision), Tamagatchi (indev), Human Duck, PainGoo, Mecha Duck (Rejected Feature).
Added modpacks (official Smellavision is the only one right now.)
Adds the Balding expansion pack.
Added show and hide stats button
Shop button now is slightly seethrough until hovered
Fix for CatarPillar not spawning on main menu.
CatarPillar begs for its life in the popup speech bubble.
Moved 2 of the stats down so that the user doesn't lose their duck under the stats.
Duck Coins Added, (Can be used in shop, acquired when new ducks clones are spawned.)
In-Game shop added, (Spend you Duck Coins to buy: Seeds, Bread Crumbs, Dirt, Collar, Fake CatarPillar, and UHHH)
- You can trade Male ducks for Female ones, the converse is true also.
- Seeds make the Ducks walk towards you.
- Collars are meant to keep your duck from dying, thus forth you can have a pet duck. Posh/Dapper/Posher ducks can still murder Collared ducks.
- UHH is not up for purchase. and was removed.
- Breadcrumbs do nothing at the moment
"Nothing yet, but you can hold them [breadcrumbs] if you want to. ... I just had the best idea " --Milo when asked what breadcrumbs do. He did not elaborate further on what his great idea was.New addon, completely original posh duck re-texture, by SillyStetterMan.
The dysfunctional ones got removed.
Ducks now have a hover message. Males will say "Male " and Females "Female".
The first CatarPillar of the game is always guaranteed to spawn. Every 14 seconds, one out of 12 for all the subsequent CatarPillar.
"Cartar Pillar is the official pronunciation of CatarPillar." --Milo's statement about CatarPillarThere were a few bug fixes not explained.
Official Changes "v.3.4: the "V" in the version number is now lowercase. added a duck addon made by @sillystettlerman SO. MANY. BUGFIXES. "please do not try to buy female or male ducks its really unstable and I'm going to cry." -Milo"
Note the ingame version number is still 2.20.2 The stop abandaning your family for DUCKS update.
Human added 2 new addons, added:
- Sonic Duck, inspired by "Joss" – Leaves a trial of sonic behind, they never are erased. Their speed can be affected by CatarPillar, and they have seemingly unrelated methods of spawning. They look real funny in turbo mode.
- 5hr Energy, inspired by "Joss" – As to what these duckies are, I have not the fainest idea. Is 5hr energy even a duck? Or a CatarPillar mod?
Official Change Leg: "added human, it cannot breed with ducks. also stop abandoning your families to play this game"
The 'modding' support update! You are now able to make ducks that will be added as 'addons' Addons can be enabled before you start the game. First item on the addon list was -Brambleheart-'s Demon duck. 2.20.1 adds -Brambleheart-'s Earth duck.

Adds new duck types: Black Scoter, Barrow Golden-Eye, Black-bellied Whistler, and Blue-Winged Teal.
Added fuzzy duckling sprite. Bugfixes: females no longer die when there are less than four total ducks
No more eastar update.

This update adds eater eggs

Coot duck species added
"I'm adding another duck species in 2.18" --Milo when asked about the 2.17.3 update content. (Coot duck was added)
"I will not be adding lunar cycles or penguins... This... is final." --Milo after community backlash about moon/penguins removal.
Adds main menu with version number. Adds "dapper duck", a duck variant with a tophat
SomethingCatchy: I find myself overwhelmed with delight. The ambiance, the chaos—divine. Might I request a top hat cosme tic for the ducks? Purely for thematic consistency, of course.
Moon officially removed, both of them. If there are only 4 ducks, they will not die of old age, nor murder either. The Moon + Stars background was replaced by 4 randomly picked gradient backgrounds.
Adds the "CatrePillar" who has a 1 in 12 every 14 minute to spawn in. Ducks go at 5x speed for 15 seconds after eating a CatrePillar. CatrePillar just goes to the left of the screen and sits there.
"It moves across the screen" -Milo when asked what the CatrePillar does.
Official Change log: Ducks no longer die if there are under 4 of them. The background now randomly changes
Nothing changed in this update, just the name. We pretend this is when the moon was removed.
This update is based around the removal of Pangin and the addition of a new background + moon. Murder calculations were updated. 100 on slider probably means 100% die, 0% for the converse effect. New death animation.
"No Comment." -Milo when asked his opinion about the 2.15 update.
Adds large Penguin that moves around in the same way as ducks, it was shortly removed.
Due to massive uproar in the community, it was removed. (actually Milo just re-textured it as the moon in 2.15. "It was a joke, the Penguin was simply a joke" -Milo when asked why the Penguin was removed/added)
In response to the 2.14 update:

I need Game 2.15 so much, please! It will make everything better, I promise! All the bad stuff will go away, and I will feel okay again. Please, Game 2.15 is my only hope. Most controversial update ever.
maximumlevelnerd: The game is, without doubt, a marvel—equal parts delight and chaos. However, I must politely ask: where is update 2.13 (and whispers of 2.14)? I appear trapped in a bygone era, while others enjoy laser ducks and lunar animations. Unsettling, to say the least. Additionally, the difficulty curve feels like a plate of spaghetti tumbling down a staircase, confusing, messy, and mildly traumatic. And the duck-on-duck violence? Uncouth. Eagerly awaiting resolution (and perhaps a hair regrowth feature)
SomethingCatchy: If your children become bored and climb fridge, let them play duck game. I return to update 2.12 for sanity. The new update not for children, to violin. I wants the old 12 now, or I cry.
SomethingCatchy: When update 2.14? Why am still in version from middle ages? Why my friends get laser ducks and I get sadness ducks? Also why is animation only when moon is full?
Ducks can be infertile now. (have odds to not summon a clone) Ducks can have gigantism and dwarfism (have odds to be bigger/smaller) Ducks are very varitable (We as the community have literally no idea what this refers to. Milo doesn't know either.)
Variants update, adds "Too many (yet not enough)" new types of Ducks. Quote from Milo. (11 new types as of 2.17, official amount for 2.12 is unknown.)
All Ducks can murder each other now, not including children below 60% size.
Children (young ducks) cannot summon clones.
Little to no information is known about the versions prior to the 2.0 update.
Population Graph removed (RIP Population Graph). Murder, only mallards can murder other mallards.
Initial. Adds ducks, as well as everything. Simple version of the game without Ducks being able to die. Overpopulation becomes a performance issue.
Ducks are added, only two types, mallard (male) and yellow (female)
- If duck collide with duck, another clone is spawned.
- Two types/skins/breeds of Ducks. Randomly picked between the two types when a new clone is spawned.
