Common types
Abilities
Abilities have the following editable attributes: name, Enabler/Action, pool cost, category type, category value, tier, range, icon, description. Abilities may be dropped onto the character sheet to be added to a character. Abilities may be re-ordered in the abilities tab, and rolled on directly from the tab using the black die icon on the right side of the description.
Armor
Armor has the following editable attributes: name, weight, armor rating, additional effort cost, price, icon, description. Armor items may be dropped onto the character sheet to be added to a character. Armor items may be re-ordered in the Equipment tab, where they are listed after being added.
Artifacts
Artifacts have the following editable attributes: name, level, form, depletion die, depletion threshold, effect. Artifacts may be dropped onto the character sheet to be added to a character. Artifact items may be re-ordered in the Numenera tab, where they are listed after being added.
Artifacts, once dropped onto a character sheet, are flagged as "unidentified". The GM, once the artifact has been properly identified, only needs to check the "Identified?" checkbox to make it identified to the PC.
Artifact levels may be empty, a fixed value (eg. "5") or a roll formula (eg. "1d6+2"). Artifacts dragged onto a character sheet with a roll formula will have their level generated randomly using that formula; the GM may opt to override that value if they want.
Cyphers
Cyphers have the following editable attributes: name, level, form, depletion die, depletion threshold, effect. Cyphers may be dropped onto the character sheet to be added to a character. Cyphers may be re-ordered in the Numenera tab, where they are listed after being added.
Cyphers, once dropped onto a character sheet, are flagged as "unidentified". The GM, once the cypher has been properly identified, only needs to check the "Identified?" checkbox to make it identified to the PC.
Cypher levels may be empty, a fixed value (eg. "5") or a roll formula (eg. "1d6+2"). Cyphers dragged onto a character sheet with a roll formula will have their level generated randomly using that formula; the GM may opt to override that value if they want.
Equipment
Equipment has the following editable attributes: name, price, icon, description. Equipment items may be dropped onto the character sheet to be added to a character. Equipment items may be re-ordered in the Equipment tab, where they are listed after being added.
Skills
Skills have the following editable attributes: name, icon, stat, description. Skills may be dropped onto the character sheet to be added to a character. Skills may be re-ordered in the Skills tab, where they are listed after being added.
Weapons
Weapons have the following editable attributes: name, weight, damage type, damage, range, price, icon, description. Weapons may be dropped onto the character sheet to be added to a character. Weapons may be re-ordered in the Equipment tab, where they are listed after being added.
Optional Items
These items will only show on character sheets if their related setting has been selected in Game Settings -> Game Features; otherwise, one could still create them or import them from a compendium but they will simply not be displayed on a character sheet.
Oddities
Oddities have the following editable attributes: name, icon, description. Oddities may be dropped onto the character sheet to be added to a character. Oddities may be re-ordered in the Numenera tab, where they are listed after being added.
Power Shifts
Oddities have the following editable attributes: name, an effects category, description. Power Shifts may be dropped onto the character sheet to be added to a character. They are displayed in the Power Shifts tab if no other optional item has been enabled; otherwise, they will be in the Features tab and then you need to select the Power Shifts value in the dropdown in the top left. Power Shifts may be re-ordered.
Recursions
Recursions have the following editable attributes: name, icon, level, laws, race, trait. On the character sheet, they have an additional "Active?" checkbox as well as fields for their related Focus and Focus abilities. Recursions may be dropped onto the character sheet to be added to a character. They are displayed in the Recursions tab if no other optional item has been enabled; otherwise, they will be in the Features tab and then you need to select the Recursions value in the dropdown in the top left. Recursions may be re-ordered.
