Code review practice
Hosted by Suzy Hamilton
How do we approach code reviewing in order to find ways to improve code quality? How do we give helpful feedback to other developers, especially newer ones? Let's use the exercises on exercism.io to practice giving that feedback. Lots of Exercism users are new devs or people new to a language, so we'd be helping people learn to code as well as practicing our own reviewing skills.
Suggested format:
- Pair up with someone and pick a language you're both familiar with
- Pick an interesting problem on Exercism and solve it (you need to do this before Exercism lets you give feedback to other people)
- Browse other people's submissions and write feedback as a pair
- Group discussion at the end of what we learned

Working Effectively with Legacy Tests
Hosted by Ivan Sanchez
This is another run of the session (XP2016, Agile Cambridge 2015) by Nat Pryce and Duncan McGregor.
"In this workshop, we invite you to bring your unloved legacy tests to a group therapy session"
So, bring some test code and we'll explore ways to improve it.

Mob programming a simple game in Elm
Hosted by Joakim Kolsjö
I've facilitated a few ad-hoc mob programming sessions during local meetups in Stockholm. Last time we made a snake game in Elm. We could try something similar here.
If other technology or topics could be interesting, write down suggestions.
