Menu for SoCraTes 2026

Water, Coffee and Tea is provided throughout the day and there is a snack available during the morning and afternoon. Meal times:

  • Breakfast 7-9.30am on Thu/Fri, 7:30-10:30am on Sat/Sun in the main restaurant
  • Thu/Fri/Sat/Sun Lunch 12.30-14.00 in the main restaurant
  • Wed/Thu/Fri/Sat Dinner 19.15-20.45 in _Oak Wed and in Rose+Fuchsia Thu-Sat

Please ensure to arrive in good time; food is a buffet and will be taken away for hygiene reasons once the sitting is over.

Just so you know, Snacks are brought to the coffee point at ~11.20 and ~15.50.

We have these indicative menus from the venue, which may be subject to some changes as it depends on whether they actually get their deliveries (there are still supply chain issues).

Thursday 18th June

Lunch

Soup of the day Bread rolls

Lettuce, tomato, cucumber, pepper, sweetcorn Braised puy lentil with slow cooked tomatoes and red onion salad Seasonal pea, spring onion and minted couscous salad

Main course:

  • Roasted pork loin, mustard sauce
  • Vegetable and bean goulash
  • Roasted potatoes with rosemary
  • Glazed carrot
  • Braised red cabbage with cranberries
  • Basmati rice

Dessert:

  • Fruit platter
  • Raspberry Posset
  • Apple and berry crumble, Soya Custard

Dinner

Lettuce, tomato, cucumber, pepper, sweetcorn Greek salad Quinoa salad

Main course:

  • BBQ chicken Leg
  • Vegetarian Mince Cottage Pie
  • Aubergine and zucchini moussaka
  • Potato wedges
  • Green Beans with onion and garlic
  • Cajun spiced corn

Dessert:

  • Fruit platter
  • Mango cheesecake
  • Chocolate mousse

Friday 19th

Lunch

Soup of the day Bread roll

Lettuce, tomato, cucumber, pepper, sweetcorn Ceasar salad Fennel, Apple dill and pomegranate salad

Main course:

  • Venison lasagne
  • Butternut squash, sage, & roasted mushroom gnocchi
  • Parsley new potatoes
  • Charred grilled broccoli with chili
  • Buttered carrot

Dessert:

  • Fruit Platter
  • Eaton mess
  • Biscoff mousse

Dinner

  • BBQ Pork Ribs
