Below are typical causes that prevent you from using the Git Integration plugin:

  • You misspelled the Git repository URL, user name or password.

  • You have proxy specified incorrectly in the ReadyAPI settings. So, if you unable to add files to or take them from the repository, check your proxy settings:

  1. Select Preferences on the ReadyAPI's main toolbar.

  2. In the subsequent dialog, select the Proxy group on the left. You will see proxy settings on the right.

  3. By default, the Proxy option is set to Automatic. Quite often, modern proxies are transparent for users. Try setting Proxy to None and repeat the operation with the repository.
    Ask you system administrator for assistance with specifying proxy settings.
