Welcome to the Joomla 3.x com_helloworld project!

Based on the original version of this project in the official Joomla! Documentation.

Due to several shortcomings that I discovered while working through the tutorial as it was presented in the official documentation, I decided that it was worth trying to clean it up some. While I'm working on it, I'd like to make it a bit more understandable for those who are not experts in the programming field.

First off, I'd like to thank all of those who came before me. At no point in time did any of the information that I used to create this tutorial come from the clear blue sky, a sparkling ray of sunshine, or ride in on the back of a disoriented unicorn. Nor did I pull any of it straight out of my ass.
