The Tunnel is a multi-stage puzzle designed for community completion in Season 3.

To enter the Tunnel, you must jump into the void near the main End island with an Anachronistic Door in your inventory*. Just like the Elytra, the Anachronistic Door has a 40% chance of dropping from the Ender Dragon when slain, with +20% for each level of Looting, up to 100% for Looting III.

As the Tunnel has been completed once before, the Tunnel is on its final level by default. On this level, you can find Jeff, who will sell you an Etho head or a Wrench for 64 redstone blocks. On Fridays and Saturdays, the Tunnel may be restarted by entering and clicking the sign at the beginning of the last level.

After restarting the Tunnel

When the Tunnel is in progress, a few things change:

• You may not enter the Tunnel with any items in your inventory besides chorus fruit, written books, bowls, and spruce doors (including the Anachronistic Door).
• Slaying the Ender Dragon will drop random clues based on the current progress in the Tunnel. If you find yourself stuck on a level, these clues may help you solve the Tunnel.

* The exact requirements for entering the Tunnel are as follows:

• The player must be in the End in the main world, below y=0, or y=-30 if gliding with Elytra, and x and z coordinates must be between -375 and 375.
• When the Tunnel is complete, you must either 1) have an Anachronistic Door OR 2) not have any items in your inventory besides the four "whitelisted" items: chorus fruit, written books, bowls, and spruce doors (including the Anachronistic Door). Failing to satisfy either of those requirements will not transport you to the Tunnel, and your player may die from void damage.
• Otherwise, when the Tunnel is in progress, you must not have any items in your inventory besides the four "whitelisted" items. Failing to satisfy this requirement will not transport you to the Tunnel, but will instead teleport you back to the obsidian platform.
