FAQ
What is the Resource World?
The Resource World is an extension of Slabserver, with no worldborder and a periodically resetting Overworld, Nether, and End. Our goal is to alleviate the increasing item scarcity that occurs on multiplayer servers.
How do I enter the Resource World?
The resource world is accessed by enderpearling through the worldborder.
How do I exit the Resource World?
In these unfamiliar lands, a small reminder of home can still be found. When you wish to find your way back, travel to 0,0.
What will synchronise between the Main World and Resource World?
Inventories, Ender Chests, advancements, statistics, and status effects will synchronise between the worlds.
Additionally, a wide variety of mobs will be transported alongside the player when transitioning between worlds, if they are in close proximity to the player while doing so.
How often does the Resource World reset?
Resets occur every two months, on the 1st of that respective month. The Resource World will go offline 24 hours prior to this, to allow for pre-generation of the new seed.
What seed will the Resource World be using?
The seed will be completely randomised for each reset. Exciting!

What are the different names for each Resource World?
Each reset of the Resource World is affectionately named, as a way of referring to and differentiating from previous iterations. Before each reset, names can be suggested and voted on in the #resource-world-poll channel on Discord.
Staff will review the results, potentially veto suggestions, and pick the top 5 names to advance to the second round of voting. The second round of voting will happen in-game in a designated building at Spawn, where each player may vote for only one name. Previous names can be found below.
Are there any Rule Changes in the Resource World?
Death Games will not be allowed.
How does sleeping, respawning and dying work in the Resource World?
You may set respawn points in the Resource World. Dying or returning through the End Portal in the Resource World will place you back at your spawn point in the Resource World if you have one, or at your spawn point in the Main World otherwise.
These spawn points are temporary and only affect respawning in the Resource World. Dying or returning through the End Portal in the Main World will not return you to the Resource World if your spawn point was set there.
Will Map items transfer between worlds?
Due to Minecraft referencing maps via a number ID, there is no simple way of making map items transfer across worlds. Therefore each world will have its own separate maps, though remember that Resource World maps will be lost upon a reset.
Do plugins and datapacks work in the Resource World?
Almost all plugins and datapacks should work in the Resource World. This is with the exception of The Tunnel - do not jump into the void expecting to enter!
Does the Dragon Egg respawn in the Resource World?
The Dragon Egg does not respawn.
