Biography

Shizara is a Khurikash Chieftain. Though she has come to be one of the most influential of the clan's warlords, Shizara was not born into the Khurikash, and in fact, she has never spoken of her original clan. She first met Vazahai in Ingaru. At the time, Shizara was the leader of a polyglot mercenary band known as the Vulture Claw, while Vazahai had contracted out his raiding band in order to build up funds. After the battle of Yahazeer, Vazahai contacted Shizara and invited her to join the war in exchange for a quarter share of all spoils. Shizara agreed, and was additionally granted a seat on the newly formed Clan Council. After the war, Shizara decided to set up base in yahazeer rather than return to Ingaru. With vazahai dead, Shizara set her sights on the rank of warchief, and nearly obtained it, with four of the nine council members in favor (after several assassinations). She later helped quash a similar plan carried out by her rival, Haikirak. Since that time, she has obtained enough influence through subtler means that she no longer seeks the title, seeing such notoriety now as more of a liability than an asset. In addition to her forces within the clan, she has access to an extensive network of underworld contacts, including the clan's recently appointed Spymaster Kikirak and the treacherous Taurash Lord Rishaka.

#####Personality Shizara is cunning, ruthless, and deeply manipulative. She can be extremely persuasive when she wishes to be, but is also rightly feared for her remorseless brutality and vengeful nature. She is suspicious and cynical towards others, to the point of paranoia, perpetually analyzing and probing even her closest allies for signs of treachery or weakness. She is, for her part, a skilled liar and a talented actor, and thus is distrusted in turn by those who know her. While all this has kept her inner circle relatively small, it has undoubtedly helped her to survive the treacherous world of Umaran politics as long as she has.
