Customer Engagement - Skatterbrainz/ConsultingNotes GitHub Wiki
As a consultant, it is fairly common to find yourself shifting between conversations and situations from one customer to another. As a result, you may find two situations to be completely opposite. For example, you may have lunch with one customer who has strong opinions favoring a particular view of politics, religion or other social topics, then have dinner with another customer who has completely opposite opinions.
Rather than try to convince each that you agree with them, seek to remain neutral and change the subject, politely. If you happen to share the same views, then by all means have a go at it. But if the customer doesn't share your opinions, never engage in a debate or argument with them. Find another subject to discuss if possible.
