Depending on if your plugin runs on the Proxy or on the Spigot server, you may need to use a different API:

• API for "Party And Friends For Bungeecord/Velocity" plugins running on the Bungeecord/Velocity server
• Party API for "Party And Friends For Bungeecord/Velocity" plugins running on the Spigot server
• Friends API for "Party And Friends For Bungeecord/Velocity" plugins running on the Spigot server
• API for "Party And Friends Extended For Spigot" plugins running on the Spigot server
