Enchantment Tokens - SilentChaos512/SilentGems GitHub Wiki
Quick Facts
- Available in almost every version
- In Minecraft 1.13.2 and higher, you need a token enchanter to craft them.
Introduction
Enchanting without XP... but for a material cost! Enchantment tokens can be crafted with tools or armor to give them enchantments. They work with tools from most mods and vanilla!
Crafting
- In Minecraft 1.12.2 and lower, enchantment tokens are crafted in any crafting grid
- In Minecraft 1.13.2 and higher, you need a token enchanter
How to Use
- Craft the tokens you want (typically one token for each level of each enchantment)
- Craft the tokens with the item. You can apply multiple tokens at once by placing them in separate slots of the crafting grid.
Note: The item must extend vanilla tool/weapon/armor class to work! That means no enchantments on Tinker's Construct tools! That would be silly.
Helpful Tips
- Enchantment Tokens work on items that are already enchanted, but enchanting tables do not!
- Notice how the tokens have different textures? The kanji on them indicates a rough category of what kinds of tools the token will work on. Each kanji also has a different color to make them easier to distinguish.
- You will see enchantment tokens for all enchantments in JEI or the creative tab. However, enchantments from other mods will not be craftable if I have not added recipes for them. Recipes can be added via data packs.
