The blueprint book can store blueprints, but not templates. A single blueprint from the book can be selected and used for crafting. Simply select the blueprint, then put the book in the crafting grid in place of the blueprint.

If you modified recipes before blueprint books were added, you will need to update your data pack!

How to Open

Hold the blueprint book in either hand and use it (right-click). This will open a GUI which lets you add or remove blueprints from the book. It can only store blueprints, not templates.

Selecting Blueprints

There are two ways to select a blueprint, using the GUI or using the cycle keys

Cycle Keys

Hover over the blueprint book in any inventory and use the cycle back/next keys to cycle through the stored blueprints in order. It will skip any empty slots. The cycle keys are Z and C by default (you can customize these keybindings to your liking).

In the GUI

Open the blueprint book (right-click), then Ctrl+click the blueprint to select (while holding the Ctrl key, left-click on blueprint to select).
