UMCNativeVotes - Silenci0/UMC GitHub Wiki
Purpose
The UMC Native Votes plugin is primarily for games that can utilize the built-in voting menus which are generally more appealing as opposed to old-style Sourcemod menus. Native votes have the advantage of utilizing the F1-F5 keys instead of the number keys which most players find to be more convenient when a map vote appears.
The UMC module itself does not have a configuration file, but it does rely on several files from the native votes plugins that were made by powerlord. Specifically, it relies on the nativevotes.smx and its associated configuration file (which are included in the UMC repository for convenience purposes).
While the upsides of this module have are better looking and more convenient menus, the downside is that the selection size of maps that appear in the voting menu will only contain 5 maps. There is no next or extend options. Please keep this in mind when utilizing this module, especially if you want the ability for users to look at more than 5 maps in the vote menu that appears near the end of a map or during an RTV.
At this time, native votes is only known to work for TF2 and it potentially works with L4D, L4D2, and ZPS (not tested). Native votes does not work with CS:GO at this time, primarily due to how the voting menus are setup for that game compared to the others mentioned earlier. CS:GO will need to utilize the old style Sourcemod menus at this time. If running CS:GO or a game that does not use native votes or you want the old style menus, please disable/remove both umc-nativevotes.smx and nativevotes.smx plugins from your server.
