Custom Commands

This page provides a comprehensive list of all custom commands available on the Minecraft ShortWlfs RPG Framework server. These commands offer unique functionalities and enhance your gameplay experience. Please use them responsibly and according to the server rules.


Command Categories

To help you find the commands you're looking for, we've organized them into the following categories:

  • General Utility: Commands for basic actions, information retrieval, and server navigation.
  • RPG Mechanics: Commands related to classes, skills, quests, and other RPG features.
  • World Interaction: Commands for interacting with the environment, claiming land, or teleporting.
  • Admin & Staff (for informational purposes): A list of administrative commands (with limited detail) that players might encounter or need to understand.

General Utility

Command Description
/greet Displays a simple greeting message from the mod.
/backup Initiates a manual backup of the world.
/swrpgstats Displays the player's current skill levels and experience points (XP).
/swrrefresh Reloads custom commands from the configuration file. This command is restricted to server operators (ops).

World Interaction

Command Description
/claimarea Claims a flat, square area centered on the player's position.
/refreshclaims Reloads the claim configuration from disk.
/setclaimname <newName> Sets a name for the player's claimed area.
/removeclaim Removes the player's claim.
/editclaim Toggles "edit mode" for the player's claim. When edit mode is on, anyone can build/break in the claim. When off, only the owner can.
/swclaimuse Toggles permission for other players to use interactive blocks (chests, doors, etc.) within the claim.
/extendclaim <extension> Extends the player's claim.
/tpc Teleports you to your owned claim.

Admin & Staff (Informational)

Command Description (General Purpose)
/addclaimplayer <player> Registers a player, allowing them to use the claim commands.
/setclaimsize <player> <size> Sets the claim size for a specific player.
/setclaimnameadmin <player> <newName> Sets the claim name for another player.
/removeclaimadmin <player> Removes the claim of another player.
/ban-ip <player_name> Adds a ban for the ip associated with that playername
/ban-ip <IP_address> Adds a ban for an ip address
/pardon-ip <IP_address> Removes the ban for an ip address
/addUser <username> Adds that user to the whitelist

RPG Mechanics

Command Description
/stats Displays the player's current skill levels and experience points (XP).

Other Commands

Command Description
/coords shows your cords alternate command to F3.
/trigger tpa add <num> Requests a teleport to that player use the number showen in tab or playerlist.
/trigger tpa tpaccept Accepts the teleport request. - can just open chat, and mouse click to accept.
/trigger tpa tpdeny Denies the teleport request. - can just open chat, and mouse click to decline.

Note: Commands related to the RPG Mechanics are limited to /swrpgstats in the provided text. If you have more RPG-related commands, please provide them, and I will add them to the list.

Common Minecraft Console Commands

  • /help or /? Displays a list of available commands (or help for a specific command).
  • /seed Shows the current world seed.
  • /gamerule Sets various game rules, like disabling mob griefing.

Player Management

  • /gamemode [player] Changes the game mode for a player (e.g., survival, creative, adventure, spectator).
  • /tp [target] or /teleport Teleports a player to a specified location or another player.
  • /kick [reason] Removes a player from the server.
  • /ban Bans a player from the server.
  • /pardon Unbans a player.
  • /say Broadcasts a message to all players.

Item and World Manipulation

  • /give [amount] [data] Gives an item to a player. Example: /give Brian minecraft:bee_spawn_egg 1
  • /summon [x] [y] [z] Spawns an entity at the specified coordinates.
  • /clear [player] [item] Clears items from a player's inventory.
  • /effect [seconds] [amplifier] Applies a status effect to a player.

World Control & Saving

  • /time set Sets the world time (for example, to day or night).
  • /time add Advances the world time by a given number of ticks.
  • /weather [duration] Sets or clears the current weather (e.g., clear, rain, thunder).
  • /save-all Forces the server to save the world and player data to disk.
  • /setworldspawn [x] [y] [z] Sets the world spawn point to the specified location.

Advanced and Utility Commands

  • /scoreboard Manages and displays scoreboards.
  • /data Inspects and modifies NBT data for entities and blocks.
  • /xp or /experience Gives experience points to a player.
  • /title Displays large onscreen messages.
  • /worldborder Controls the world border settings.
  • /locate Finds the nearest instance of the specified structure.
  • /spreadplayers Randomly teleports entities within a defined area.
