AliOS Things has offered open-sourced porting guide in GitHub. You can go to https://github.com/alibaba/AliOS-Things.git for more details.

Steps for certification application are:

1. Download AliOS Things certification application form.
2. Read and complete the application form.
3. Prepare the electronic materials required in the form.
4. Compress AliOS Things certification application form and all the electronic materials required, and name it as AliOS Things certification application-{chip model}.zip
5. Send the above compressed to [email protected], and set the subject as[AliOS Things certification application] {company name}

Note：

1. You should fill out the application form completely and provide all electronic materials.
2. You should use standard email subject or it will be refused.
3. The application will be no more than two rounds literally.
4. The result will always be returned by email within 2 working days.

When application is passed, vendors will be guided to carry out self tests. You need to log in Ali Cloud related system so you'd better sign up an account in advance.

1. Log in at IoT certification platform, and inform our staff of your account.
2. Our staff will create self test task for you based on your application form.
3. Carry out your test. You can refer to AliOS Things self test guide.
4. Upload your source code to GitHub after tests.

You can mail your hardware during your test. The content should include, but not limited to:

1. Paper version of AliOS Things certification application form (fill in as Step2. certification application)
2. 5 sets of development boards（including 5 sets of power source and connection line）
3. 2 sets of debug downloader (if needed)
4. 5 sets of antenna and communication card (if needed)
5. 5 sets of communication module (if needed)
6. 5 sets of serial port line (Micro USB/Mini USB/DB9 RS232)
7. DuPont lines (if needed)

Note：

1. Ensure that the mailed hardware is the same as the self tested hardware.
2. Please send all necessary hardware at once. You can confirm with us by e-mail or telephone before mail.

When you have passed self-tests and we received your mailed hardware, we will start certification tests. During tests, Ali RDC system will be used to manage errors, so please sign up in advance.

In principle, certification test will take no more than 30 days.

When all the certification tests are passed, we will issue an online AliOS Things certificate in IoT certification platform.
