BC7009 - ShadowJonathan/ByteCart GitHub Wiki
Abstract
The BC7009 is a load balancer that can dispatch the traffic on a track to 3 tracks.
Function
A construction must be built. There is a schematic file here that you can use. The BC7009 sign must be placed on the side where the carts will arrive from. If you use the schematic, change the sign position according to your need.
When a cart arrives on the track and passes on the sign, a round-robin algorithm shifts clockwise the last direction used. The cyclic order is Left-Front-Right.
At first use, the direction will be left.
If you use regularly the bcupdater command, note that this sign must be used only in stations, after the BC9001 sign. It may be used in the network, but it will break the updater algorithm. Running bcupdater with a such sign in the network will lead to big configuration issues.
Usage
Use a load balancer to dispatch traffic in heavy crowded stations, where you will put several arrival platforms.
