User Stories #1 - SetGoals/Goals GitHub Wiki
wants to be able to create an account where they can create and manage their goals and habits.
wants to be able to set an ongoing goal (would we consider this a habit? 🤔) of their choice focusing on a particular topic (physical fitness).
wants to be able to set how frequently they want to complete this habit and when to complete it;
- (daily / on particular days of the week / on a date / times per week or month / total amount of times within a specific timescale)
and would like;
- reminders / notifications / nudges
when to complete a habit or when they have missed a habit.
wants to be able to edit a goal at any point.
wants to be able to mark a habit as complete or skipped, and if a habit has been marked as missed and have the ability to edit a habits status.
would like to be able to set themselves a long term goal of their choice focusing on a particular topic (physical fitness) and set their own specific milestones to help track their progress and completion.
would like to have the option to select existing related (ongoing goals) to link to their long term goal and use these as their milestones (❔ are these the steps we had discussed previously) to track their progress / completion.
would like the flexibility to set a specific date for their long term goal to work toward or use the ongoing habits (may be limited to goals that are to be completed a certain number of times / completed by a certain date) as their milestones to measure completion.
would like to be able to link / remove an ongoing goal(s) to a long term goal they have set themselves at any point.
would like to be able to track their progress of each;
- individual ongoing habit (completed total / missed / when they were missed) and;
- long term goal ( success / progress / completion % / projected completion against goal completion date)
RE:Habit
I think habit may not be something you can complete, rather something unconscious or habitual that you do without much thought or planning or effort. Regular practice can create a habit. Good habits are learned or trained for, built or inherent in a person.
Ongoing goals are more about not yet having completed a task or a task that continues to exist, happen or develop.
Maybe in development is more useful?
