Introduction
The Slip Ring is mounted at the base of the turret, within the hull. It connects the stationary part of the hull to the rotating turret ring, enabling continuous 360-degree rotation while maintaining electrical connections between the two sections.
Functions
The slip ring ensures uninterrupted power and signal transmission to the rotating turret. It carries both power and control lines across the rotating frame of the tank platform.
The model used is a 12-wire, 22mm diameter slip ring, rated for up to 240V at 2A per channel.
