What we planned to do last time to address the issues we had encountered
When planning stuff out we asked about upcoming availability for the next sprint
We made a channel in our discord to track how much time we plan on having for the next sprint
Create smaller tasks that are more well defined
We did create smaller tasks. but it didn't work out as well as we had hoped
We broke up the MIBS API into 4 different tasks, however there was a lot of stuff that overlapped between the tasks which kind of made it harder for multiple people to work on at the same time
Pair programming to spread knowledge among the team
We did a lot more pair programming within the team and we plan on keeping it up
Ensure to ask questions within the team whenever
We made a policy that if you have been stuck on something for more than 30 minutes you should reach out to someone else on the team to get help
This Retrospective
We swapped roles around in our team to accommodate people's schedules.
We got Lucas to move from development to testing and got three people to start or focus more on development to compensate for this
We felt like development wasn't going as fast as we wanted it to go
We added more part time developers than we had before with Lucas on the development team
We're hoping that this will help us get more done on development since we'll have more people on development than before
It could also help with testing since the new part time developers are also testers
