Odroid XU4

The XU4 is Odroid's most powerful SBC with two ARM-based four-core processors and a GPU. It also has a USB3 port. We use two of these computers to control the sub. Beware, the XU4 has overheating issues with heavy processor use, at which point it will throttle the processors. Also, this is a 32-bit system.

Odroid C1+

The C1+ is Odroid's Raspberry Pi competitor. It costs nearly the same but boasts slightly more power. We have two of these, but we no longer use them. Like the XU4, this is a 32-bit system.

Requirements

Our basis for picking that which we did. Requirements numbered by importance:

1. Cost - I need to pay rent.
2. USB 3.0 - At least one of the cameras will use this.
