Gantt Chart - SeanSpires/Project1-306-Team-Stonks GitHub Wiki

The Gantt Chart is the final diagram in waterfall approach taken in the project plan. Gantt charts provide an easy way to schedule tasks and allow group members to see the important deadlines, progress and tasks of the project. This chart does not provide an encompassing view of the project, however, it gives the team a general overview of the project.

After time and resources were estimated for the project, the team set out to model the Gantt Chart. Tasks that were used to populate the chart were supplied from the Work Breakdown Structure. Following the waterfall process, the team then used the Project Network and based the timeline off it.

As this is the team’s first endeavour on a project of such niche nature, the duration of each task was estimated. Some tasks were optimistic in duration, whereas somewhere less so. However, the team ensured that the artifacts needed for each phase deadline were carefully planned to be on schedule.
