XeCLI Terms of Service
Last updated: March 30, 2026
These Terms of Service govern use of XeCLI, the XeTerminal interface, the rgh command-line tools, the public project documentation, and any related release packages published by SaveEditors.
XeCLI is a technical desktop toolkit for Xbox 360 research, management, transfer, inspection, and maintenance workflows. By downloading, installing, launching, or using XeCLI, you agree to these terms.
1. Scope
XeCLI is provided as desktop software and related documentation. It is intended for lawful operator use on hardware, accounts, data, and networks you own or are explicitly authorized to manage.
XeCLI is licensed, not sold.
XeCLI may include support for:
- live console connectivity over XBDM, FTP, and related management paths
- local package, profile, save, and file workflows
- reverse-engineering and analysis helpers
- optional third-party integrations such as Discord Rich Presence
2. Acceptable Use
You agree to use XeCLI only in compliance with applicable law, platform rules, network rules, and any rights held by hardware owners, publishers, service providers, and account holders.
You must not use XeCLI to:
- access consoles, accounts, saves, storage, or networks without authorization
- violate service terms, anti-cheat rules, export rules, or intellectual-property rights
- distribute malware, unauthorized payloads, or destructive automation
- misrepresent your identity, ownership, authorization, or entitlement to the target system
- interfere with, damage, corrupt, or disable hardware, storage, or online services
3. User Responsibility
You are responsible for:
- validating commands before running them
- keeping backups of important saves, profiles, NAND images, and other console data
- understanding the risks of console-side actions, file transfers, memory operations, and debugging workflows
- ensuring your use of XeCLI does not violate the rights of other users or the policies of third-party services
SaveEditors does not take custody of your hardware, console state, account state, or stored content. You operate XeCLI at your own risk.
4. Third-Party Services and Content
XeCLI may interoperate with third-party software, services, protocols, releases, or content sources, including but not limited to Discord, GitHub, Xbox 360 system software, plugins, payloads, and external analysis tools.
Those services and products are governed by their own terms, privacy policies, and operational limits. SaveEditors is not responsible for the availability, behavior, moderation, security, or policy decisions of third-party services.
5. Rich Presence and Optional Integrations
If you enable Discord Rich Presence or other optional integrations, XeCLI may share limited runtime status with the local third-party client or service needed to provide that feature. Those features are optional and can be disabled.
Discord Rich Presence is not active unless it is configured and enabled by the operator.
Use of optional integrations is also subject to the third party's own terms and privacy practices.
6. No Warranty
XeCLI is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, availability, or error-free operation.
SaveEditors does not warrant that XeCLI will:
- meet every operator requirement
- remain continuously available
- be free from defects, interruptions, incompatibilities, or data-loss scenarios
- be safe for every console configuration, plugin stack, storage device, or reverse-engineering workflow
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, SaveEditors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, revenue, goodwill, hardware state, service access, or business interruption arising from or related to XeCLI.
This limitation applies even if SaveEditors was advised that such damages were possible.
8. Suspension or Termination
SaveEditors may modify, suspend, replace, or discontinue XeCLI releases, documentation, integrations, or distribution channels at any time without liability.
9. Changes to These Terms
These Terms of Service may be updated from time to time. The published version on the official XeCLI documentation surface is the current version.
Continued use of XeCLI after an update means you accept the revised terms.
