HOW TO SETUP A SERVER

  • set EULA to true
  • rename start.txt to start.bat <- this file will start your server with 4GB RAM
  • copy all files to your server via FTP if you are using a server hosting website.
  • if you decide to use a server hosting website I recommend Bisecthosting, we are using it for the official server. Zero problems, awesome support. If you use the code "adventurepack" you'll get 25% off!
  • !! set your server jar to custom.jar in your hosting panel IF you use a hosting website that requires that !!
  • optional: you want to play with the original origins, delete kubejs/data/advpack | and origins, both folders (as awesome as they are, they are too overpowered for AP)
  • optional: you want to change loot/xp gains from spawners, the configs are /configs/balance_of_exile (my configs and balance is meant for public servers)

  • messing around with Quests is very annoying. it can lead to progress loss and desyncs

  • if you add mods, I won't be able to help with issues at all. The pack is mostly stable -> adding stuff is your own risk

  • I highly recommend using a admin/flan claim with the golden hoe when setting up spawn, 32x32 should be enough
