"Choose an Origin and begin your game with special abilities, some of which help you out, while others hinder you in your gameplay." We use custom origins for Adventurepack because the original origins that come per default are not balanced in the Age of Exile environment. Origins is fully data driven which means everyone can suggest origins or even make them themselves!

To change your origin, you have to craft "Orb of Origins" and rightclick while holding it. They are not gamechanging, but more a way to customize your character a little more.
To activate the special ability (if the origin has one) press "G" per default or change it in your keybinds!
Exiled
A banished warrior - once a follower of Azuna, now a lone wolf.
PRO
- increased movespeed
- increased jumpheight
- takes no fall damage
CON
- can only eat meat
Enderling
Infused with end magic, this hybrid surprises and confuses it's enemies with normally impossible movement.
PRO
- active ability "launch into air" (superjump, 20 blocks high)
- has permanent slowfall
CON
- can only eat plant based food
Stalker
Not many people survived a confrontation with a Stalker. They say humans eating too much phantom flesh turn into this vile creature.
PRO
- hold shift to get the invisibility effect
- active ability "Nightvision"
- once in a while your next attack slows and blinds your target
CON
- exhausts much quicker than other origins
Silvam
A treant like creature, it uses its tendrils to fight, build and destroy.
PRO
- extra reach
- can summon a tamed wolf
- potions you use also apply on all your pets
CON
- get's claustrophobic (slow and weakness when ceiling is low)
Vox
Shapeshifting protector of all dimensions. It's said they only appear when great danger is immanent.
PRO
- can shapeshift into fox on land (jump + G) or fish in water (G), if you use G while grounded you transform back
- can break blocks underwater as if on land
- enchanting and repairing is improved and buffed
