Monitoring and metrics & Alert Setup

Navigate to the VM, select “Monitoring” then click on “Insights”.

Click on Enable, In the “Monitor Configuration” click on “Configure”.

Once the monitoring is configure , we can go into the VM , click on “Monitoring” then select “Insights”, click on “Analyze Data”

Now we can see the performance details of the VM.

View Metrics In the VM, select “Monitoring, click on “Metrics” and select the required details.

Create Alerts In the VM, select “Monitoring” then click on “Alerts”.

Select the “Signal Name” for which we want to create an alert

After selecting the Signal name , select the below details,

In the “Actions” tab, select actions and the email where we want to receive the alert.

After that we have to go to the “Details” tab and select the severity of the alert

After that we have to click on “Review + Create” and click on “Create”.

Once the alert is set, we will receive an alert on the email we added above.
