Tankanam

A game of competitive typing.

Use a virtual input system to display a keyboard on the screen. Provide choice of layouts like Qwerty , INSCRIPT but not transliteration.

All scores are shown in two modes: with the keyboard displayed onscreen and without.

Level description:

1. Highlight arbitrary individual keys on the online keyboard, add points when the corresponding physical keys are pressed. Score reflects only accuracy, not speed.
2. Level 1, but with chord keys. [ Shift + k => ख ]
3. Copying Sequences of individual or chord keys.
4. Words
5. Sentences, from level 5, points awarded based on Word error rate and speed.
6. Transcription of excerpts from व्यावहारा साहस्री, ambuda.org etc.
7. Transcription of other texts
8. Compete with standard speeds, others in the community etc.
