The Hunter of Malice "When you find a cause worth fighting for, you dedicate everything in your body and soul to it. Sure be nice if the tangos didn't, though."

##B.J. Blazkowicz history B.J. Blazkowicz hails from the Wolfenstein 3D franchise, created by id Software in 1992 as a successor to the stealth-based Castle Wolfenstein.

In Wolfenstein 3D, William Joseph Blazkowicz is the top agent of the United States Office of Secret Actions, and is sent to Germany undercover in order to investigate the Nazi's occult research. He gets captured and imprisoned, and the rest of the game is spent breaking out and killing everyone involved in the strangely maze-like and labyrinthine prisons. Upon breaking out of the hellish and nightmarish Nazi prisons, the OSA decide he can do more and sends him back in for different reasons. Ol' Billy obliges, and culminates in fulfilling the dream of every American soldier by personally killing Hitler in a one-on-one man-versus-mech battle to the death.

While not the first FPS, it was perhaps the first game to do the FPS genre justice, and cemented all of the basic gameplay facets that the industry would follow up to the modern days. While the Wolfenstein brand diminished over the time, B.J. was still recognized by IGN as "the soldier who fired the first shot in the first-person-shooter wars". Not only has the iconic Nazi-killing badass stayed in pop culture, but now a new Wolfenstein source port may give the game some extra life and keep it afloat for a little longer.

##B.J. Blazkowicz in Samsara B.J. is the Marksman of the Heroes, and specializes in picking off enemies at a long and safe distance. All of his weapons have pinpoint accuracy, sans the chaingun in DM, and bullet for bullet B.J.'s weapons do on average more damage per shot than most others. Pick an enemy at long range and mow them down! Obviously, with this power in long range comes a severe lack of options in close range. While the Rocket Launcher and Flamethrower are great weapons that perform wonderfully in close range, the utility of a shotgun simply can't be denied and B.J. lacking one really hurts him. Related, because there was only one ammo type outside the Macintosh versions of Wolfenstein, all Ammo 2 and Shells are converted into Ammo 1 on pickup. Considering his two major guzzlers rely heavily on Ammo 1, B.J. players will need to keep a sharp eye on their remaining amount. Despite these two major issues, though, B.J. is a character that can strike fear into the others easily. The idea that death can come from an area you can never see and can never fight back against can make even seasoned veterans wary, and a good sniper can be an angel of death on the battlefield. Unlike most traditional snipers, though...B.J.'s weapons are fully automatic.

Strengths: Pinpoint accuracy with all weapons. Weaknesses: No real close-range weapons, limited resources. Main Weapons: Machine Gun, Chaingun

##Weapon loadout

Knife: The fastest melee weapon in Samsara. The Knife is, basically, a weaker version of the chainsaw. While not doing a lot damage, it's able to kill a zombieman in a few seconds. And it's one of the few weapons which can be upgraded permanently. Via his slot 1 being a knife upgrade.

Luger: empty

Machine Gun: For the most part, B.J. players will be swapping between the Machine Gun and the Chaingun depending upon the range of the enemy.

Chaingun: While the Chaingun boasts the same accuracy as the Machine Gun at twice the firing rate, the sprite is...bulky and blocky. The constant muzzle flash blocks all view, and keeps all but the sharpest-eyed of players from continuing to assail enemies beyond the mid range.

Rocket Launcher: The Rocket Launcher is a unique beast among all the characters' rocket launchers, if only because it acts absolutely nothing like a traditional rocket launcher. If anything, this weapon is the equivalent of B.J.'s shotgun, for close range enemies and clearing small crowds.

Flamethrower: This is your second option for close range encounters, and as far as suppression goes it isn't too bad.

Spear of Destiny: The Spear of Destiny is an ultimate that, with one single shot, can turn the tide of an invasion wave and instantly change the flow of a deathmatch. A combination of area denial, area clearing, and massive burst, one shot of the Spear of Destiny effectively bars an entire area from enemy presence and purges all life currently there.
