What is it?

It is an exam that checks if you are able to integrate with the Dutch society.

How to study for it?

• Best option is to study using the Ad Appel book
• For the KNM exam, there is the KNM book

How it works?

• You need to pay and do each exam separated, you can try again only the exams that you have failed.
• After you have successfully passed the exams, you will receive a Inburgeren diploma (should take a week) and with that you can either do the naturalization or ask for the permanent resident permit.

Exams results

• For the KNM, listening and reading, the result usually comes in a week.
• For Writing and Speaking, it usually takes around 3 weeks.
• For the ONA exam, you can get an exemption if you have worked in The Netherlands for 6 or more months.
