Concept

XTM Workbench is the primary tool, in the XTM Cloud application, for linguists where the translation, correction, and review steps are performed. Linguists can also benefit from features enabling in-context translation:

• Visual Mode,
• Video Preview,
• Custom preview

Thanks to the integration with termbases and machine translation engines, linguists can speed up the translation process.

How does XTM Workbench work?

When files are imported into XTM Cloud, the text is divided into segments according to the so-called segmentation rules. Thanks to the segmentation, linguists can benefit from an advanced matching mechanism. Furthermore, the terminology module ensures consistency on the agreed terms. It is also possible to connect to one of many translation engines to speed up the translation process.
