  • Detailed documentation on how you successfully completed this weeks lab. Fellow SYS350 students should be able to reproduce the lab using your documentation. (10 Points)
  • Research and document an alternative method for completing this lab. An additional 1-2 bonus points will be awarded (depending on complexity) for successful implementation and documentation of your alternative method.

  1. Go to the ESXi server you added to vCenter

  2. Go to "Configuration," then "Storage," "Storage Adapters," and finally "add Static Target Server."

  3. "iSCSI Server: 129.168.3.57" with port 3260

  4. IQN should be assigned by your professor, and then click "OK"

  5. "Rescan Adapter"

  6. Go to Datastore -> Storage -> New Datastore -> Type (VMFS) -> SYS350-LUN03 - VMFS 6 - Defaults

  7. When you have created your datastore make a new folder in it by clicking "New Folder," name it and hit "OK"
