The quickest way to install Machinery on openSUSE is the one-click installer:

• Install on openSUSE

Alternatively you can install Machinery using zypper:

• openSUSE Leap 42.1:

  # zypper ar -r http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/systemsmanagement:/machinery/openSUSE_Leap_42.1/ machinery
  # zypper ref
  # zypper in machinery
  

• openSUSE 13.1:

  # zypper ar -r http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/systemsmanagement:/machinery/openSUSE_13.1/ machinery
  # zypper ref
  # zypper in machinery
  

• openSUSE 13.2:

  # zypper ar -r http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/systemsmanagement:/machinery/openSUSE_13.2/ machinery
  # zypper ref
  # zypper in machinery
  

• openSUSE Tumbleweed:

  # zypper ar -r http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/systemsmanagement:/machinery/openSUSE_Tumbleweed/ machinery
  # zypper ref
  # zypper in machinery
  

Machinery is part of the module Advanced System Management in SLES. Install it as follows:

1. Start the SUSE Customer Center module:

   # yast2 scc
   

2. Click Select Extensions.

3. Select Advanced Systems Management Module 12.

4. Proceed with Next and accept the package selections.

5. Review the summary and close the installation report with Finish.

6. Run as root:

   # zypper in machinery
