Implemented So Far

  1. As a person responsible for developing an organizational strategy for Research Data Management, I want to be able to visualize the RDaF Stages, Topics and Subtopics, and SUNY extensions to them as a graph-based decision tree so that I can explore actions I might want to take and who might need to participant in them.

  2. As a person interested in the RDaF, I want to be able to see the how the SUNY extensions to RDaF tie back to the original RDaF topics and subtopics.

  3. As a person responsible for developing an organizational strategy for Research Data Management, I want to be able to indicate which of the RDM outcomes we have achieved, which are in progress and which are not started so that I can identify where I should be putting effort.

  4. As a person responsible for developing an organizational strategy for Research Data Management, I want to be able to indicate which of the RDM outcomes we have achieved, which are in progress and which are not started so that I can use the tool to produce a scorecard.

  5. As a user of the SUNY RDaF tool, I want to be able to access the RDaF descriptions for the RDaF entities from within the display so that I can understand what they refer to.

  6. As a user of the SUNY RDaF tool, I only want to see the Activities for Outcomes once I have indicated the Outcome is Not Started or In Progress so that I can focus my attention on what might be actionable.

  7. As a user of the SUNY RDaF tool, I want to be able to download a scorecard representing my selections on the status of the Outcomes so that I have a record of my selections in the tool.

Potential Future

  1. As a deployer of the SUNY RDaF tool, I want to be able to specify a default location for the JSON-LD file to use to populate the display so that users don't have to have a data file to use it.

  2. As a person with information on my campus' RDM activities, I want to be able to link campus outputs and resources to the appropriate activities and outcomes in the SUNY RDaF extension.

  3. As a user of the SUNY RDaF tool, I want to be able to upload my own JSON-LD file to populate the display so that if I have my own data file I can use it.
