Sprint calendar it is. Start Monday July 27. Five sprints, two weeks each.
| Sprint | Dates | Build | Parallel gates | Sprint exit criteria |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Sprint 1 | Jul 27 to Aug 7 | Staging schema locked, fs_staging dirs on all nodes, engine skeleton, identity map v1, then delta compute, dry run, cap, cascade halt, ledger integration | Day 1: request Entra app registration, Rapid7 API key, SCCM service account. Field list handed to Fresh dev. WSUS ownership decision closed | Engine passes fixture tests. Identity map builds from live snapshot. Match rate report vs live Fresh reviewed and sane |
| Sprint 2 | Aug 10 to Aug 21 | SCCM collector, job template, schedule, dry run soak. Then Ansible patch field emitter and decay compute | Fresh fields due by end of sprint. Chase Entra approval hard | SCCM live with cap and clean ledger lines. Patch field dry run on Prod inventory reviewed clean |
| Sprint 3 | Aug 24 to Sep 4 | Defender TVM collector, dry run soak. Then Rapid7 collector, dry run started | Entra app registration must be in hand by sprint start, escalate if not | Defender dry run clean. Rapid7 collector built, dry run running |
| Sprint 4 | Sep 7 to Sep 18 | Vuln reconciler, precedence map, stale failover, coverage report. Then live enable: vuln rollup with cap, patch field live on Prod | Both vuln sources soaking through first week | All MVP sources writing live under caps. Coverage gaps eyeballed and explainable. Ledger capturing every write |
| Sprint 5 | Sep 21 to Oct 2 | Buffer and closeout: docs, build vs plugin decision record, Grafana coverage metrics. Optional lane: Intune seeding config, WSUS collector only if Sprint 1 decision demanded it | MVP declared done. Anything unfinished here is scope cut, not slip |
MVP target date: October 2. Realistic date if Entra drags: mid October, and only Defender plus the reconciler shift right, SCCM and patch are untouched by it.
Sprint hygiene worth adopting since you are a team of one: end of each sprint, 30 minutes, write three lines in the project doc. What shipped, what slipped, what blocks next sprint. That is your standup, retro, and status report in one, and it feeds straight into the context doc for future chats.
Two hard dependencies to protect: the Sprint 1 day one credential requests, since every slip there lands on Sprint 3, and the Fresh fields by end of Sprint 2, since Sprint 4 live writes die without them.
Want this as an xlsx tracker with status and notes columns per sprint, or does the table cover it?
