Introduction

Open-Foam ParaFEM Coupling Interface (OpenFPCI) describes a framework developed to couple ParaFEM driver programs to Foam-Extend, a fork of the popular CFD package OpenFOAM.

Motivation

The motivation behind the project is to develop a robust application capable of solving a range of Fluid-Structure Interaction problems on parallel computing architectures.
