Activity Model - SENG-350-2024-fall/Team-1 GitHub Wiki
The following activity model describes the main process of a Patient user using MisterED to be virtually triaged, enter the queue, and then receive a notification to proceed to the nearest ED. Initially, the Patient user logs in, views and accepts a disclaimer stating to use 9-1-1 in a life threatening emergency or if severe symptoms occur, and then clicks a button to start the virtual triage process. An online medical professional, also known as an Online Nurse, will be put in contact with the Patient user. The Online Nurse will then perform the virtual triage and either put the Patient user into the queue for an ED or will escalate to First Responders. Once the MisterED system recognizes that the user is at the front of the queue, then it will notify the Patient user and give them directions to the corresponding ED. Once the Patient has gone to the ED, they will be removed from the front of the queue, provide the patient treatment, and then update their medical records.
The System Administrator actor is not included in this Activity Diagram as they have no activities in the main process of MisterED.
