Ingredients:

  • 400g spaghetti
  • 500g ground beef
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 large onion, finely chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 800g canned crushed tomatoes
  • 2 tablespoons tomato paste
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh basil leaves, for garnish
  • Grated Parmesan cheese, for serving

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Pasta: Cook the spaghetti according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

  2. Cook the Meat: Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spoon. Drain any excess fat.

  3. Add Aromatics: Add the chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet with the beef. Cook until the onions are soft and translucent.
