Name: Stanley Age: 10 Occupation: 4th Grade Student

Background: Stanley is a bit of a class clown, but notably does very well in school when he's focused and engaged. He's always had a passion for robotics, but sadly, material and instruction on robotics is few and far between in 4th grade, and a lot of the other subjects bore him at times. Stanley is excited for iMentor because he thinks it will be a way to make school more interesting and relevant to him.

Computer Use: Stanley is very familiar with computer applications, because he's used them since he was very young. Other mentoring programs have been difficult for Stanley to participate in because it has been difficult to find a mentor involved in his interest. Stanley has to take the school bus because his parents work from 8 to 5 during the week. At the end of the day, Stanley is satisfied if he can talk to professionals about robotics and related fields on a schedule compatible with him and his family.

Reporting: Stanley uses his computer for school projects.

Goal: Stanley dreams about becoming a robotics designer and compete in robot death matches for a living.
