To determine the anglular range for generation and to verify that the newly generated point is appropriate, we formulate several constraints on the terrain. These constraints ensure that the terrain does not intersect with itself, that there are no too thin parts in the terrain, that it is navigatable by the hiker, and does not generate backwards.
