Porting is the procedure of identifying and modifying applications so that they are executable in the SAGrid execution environment. This involves both integration and deployment. Integration refers to the identification of dependencies and proper compilation or cohabitation of applications with these, while deployment refers to the transport of these applications and their dependencies to the execution environment.
