1. Value Proposition

Our value proposition is to offer university students, and those supporting them, an accessible, reliable, and user-friendly mobile tool to manage academic stress, develop consistent self-care habits, and respond effectively to moments of anxiety or emotional crisis. Unlike the scattered information found online or wellness apps that can feel generic, clinical, or difficult to integrate into daily life, our solution combines short, personalized activities, guided breathing exercises, practical mental health information, progress tracking, and quick access to trusted contacts and university support resources into a warm, intuitive experience. This enables students to receive helpful guidance when they need it, build healthier routines, and be better prepared to care for themselves and support others.

2. UI/UX Design

2.1 Color Palette and Rationale

This color palette was chosen with colors in mind that transmit calm and are not stimulating to the user. Each color aligns with that purpose in its meaning:

  • Eucalyptus: Transmit serenity, freshness, and balance. As a subtle grayish green, it evokes a strong connection to nature, mental calm, renewal, and health.
  • Peach: Conveys warmth, optimism, and approachability. It is a welcoming and friendly color that evokes softness, sweetness, moderate joy, and a positive yet unoverwhelming energy.
  • Pistachio: Transmit vitality, originality, and freshness. As a brighter, yellowish green, it brings dynamism, creativity, youthfulness, and a sense of natural, healthy energy.
  • Ivory: Conveys elegance, purity, and sophistication. It is a softer and warmer alternative to pure white, evoking calm, understated luxury, timelessness, and minimalism.
  • Clay: Transmit stability, honesty, and comfort. As an earthy tone, it connects with roots, craftsmanship, and solidity, creating very welcoming, rustic, and organic atmosphere.

2.5 Navigational Patterns

For navegation in the app first the user has to go on a linear flow to sing in/up and have access to the funtionalities of the app The reason these navigation tools were chosen is that we want to have personal messages and recomendations that fit the users needs, for this we need to have the user information

Then the navegation is base on cards, from the home users can access activities and information provided by the app. The reason is that this design is very intuitive, the colors and images used help the users to know which activities are available.

Also, we will implement a bottom navigation bar from which it would be easy to access the preference the home and the activities of the day. This way the home, with the activities, is always available so the user can change what its doing. The activities button gives the user a compendium of how its day has gone. Finally the profile button gives access to users personal information, here the user can change preferences.
