About

This project is an open source translation of Reverse Collapse: Code Name Bakery into Russian. Since the developers of the game did not add an official Russian localization, I decided to create a translation for the Russian-speaking community, so that players could better understand the story and what is happening in the game.

The translation was realized with the help of masterkosta and mod-loader BepInEx. I purchased the russifier from masterkosta and highly recommend supporting him on Boosty by subscribing to his page. Links to archives with Russifier are available at the end of this page.

Problems found

The following problems were found while working on the translation:

Restrictions with confidential files: A significant part of confidential files cannot be included in the translation for unknown reasons. Many copy errors appear in the console, which may be due to the peculiarities of text extraction from the current game content.
Text display issues: Russian text in most cases does not adapt to some interface elements such as titles, subheadings or buttons due to text stretching limitations.

Installation

Download the archive with the appropriate version.

Go to the root of the game (Gears -> Controls -> Show Local Files)

For simplicity, select the entire folder (CTRL + A or with mouse), right click -> properties.

Check Read-only -> To this folder and all subfolders and files -> OK

Uncheck Read-only -> To this folder and all subfolders and files -> OK

Go to windows (Reverse Collapse Code Name Bakery\windows)

For simplicity, select and copy to

As a minimum I had to do exactly these steps to successfully download the russifier from masterkosta.
