7.1 Motor Sizing:

We require one DC Motor and one Stepper Motor.

For DC motor,

Calculated mass (approx) = 175g

Torque(in kg-cm) = mass x perpendicular distance

= 175x10^-3 x 10cm

= 1.75 kg-cm (approx.)

We know that Factor of Safety = 1.5

0.3Ax1.5=0.45A 4.44Ax1.5= 6.75A

Hence, 5A adapter can be used for 12V power supply and 10A adapter for 5V power supply.
